Scottish Health Services Supports the Save Bennachie Campaign!

As Managing Director of Scottish Health Services I have some seriously good perks; In this regard I am referring to the holistic stimulation that is provided by the rural idyll in which I live, function, operate and indeed manage the company……and where I walk on a daily basis with my countrified daughter and my trusty Gordon Setter. However, much to my amazement plans are potentially afoot to distort this Aberdeenshire area of outstanding natural beauty in order to dual the A96 leading to Inverness. This level of intrusion would only serve to carve-up and butcher an area that is awash with some of Scotland’s most important wildlife species including the Pine Marten, Red Squirrel and Scottish Wildcat (including the Hybridized type).  As a wildlife enthusiast I have experienced the delight of watching Scottish Wildcats in the local area, and although fleeting and very occasional the experience shall live with me forever.  Please give your support to our local campaign against rural distortion and pastoral destruction…all in the name of roadwork development cutting through an area of outstanding natural beauty where the impact on local wildlife will be considerable and long-lasting: www.savebennachie.com
