Who are we?

Scottish Health Services is a transport and recreational support service for families and individuals receiving Self-Directed Support (SDS) Option 2 in Scotland.
We provide safe, friendly, and personalised support to help people access their communities — including social outings, recreational activities, and wellbeing events.

We do not provide personal care, medication assistance, behaviour support, or any other regulated care services as defined by the Care Inspectorate. Our services are limited to community access and wellbeing-focused transport support, and as such, Scottish Health Services is not a registered care provider.

– No personal care (e.g. toileting, dressing, feeding)
– No medication prompting or administration
– No supervision of personal care routines
– No behavioural support, counselling, or mental health programmes
– No overnight respite or home-based sitting services

Regulatory Status

We do not carry out regulated care activities. All services are delivered in support of community participation and are fully compliant with SDS Option 2 funding.

Why Our Service Matters

Community-based transport and recreational support can make a huge difference in someone’s life. It improves mental wellbeing, reduces isolation, builds confidence, and promotes inclusion. Our service complements family care arrangements and gives people a safe, reliable way to stay connected and active — without needing regulated care services.
