DESCRIPTION : We are looking for candidates on behalf of a National Social Care organization who offers a range of services to support the individual needs of children and young people. My client’s approach is based on building positive, nurturing relationships using the principles of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy (PACE) and Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP).
We are looking for positive, compassionate and caring Practitioners who will support children and young people who may have autism, sensory impairments and learning disabilities.
You need to be adaptable, have a positive mind-set with a desire to improve the lives of those you care for. Experience of working with children and young people who have complex support needs, autism or complex learning needs would be desirable.
Suitable candidates will have an appropriate qualification for this position such as SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or the willingness to work towards attaining this qualification.
You will be required to register with Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of starting in post.
